Art Teeters ~ President of Cal Pacific Airmotive Inc
Cal-Pacific Airmotive, Inc. is located at the end of runway 26 on the Salinas Municipal Airport (KSNS) in Salinas, Californian U.S.A.  We are 8 miles inland from the scenic Monterey Bay on the California central coast line.

Art is the son of a Kansas Barnstorming pilot who gave him the passion for flying.  He earned his private and commercial pilot license and instrument rating at a young age.  Art also holds an Airframe & Powerplant (A&P) License and an Inspection Authorization (IA) License.

Art & Fran Teeters began their aviation business in Colorado, and later moved to Salinas establishing Cal Pacific Airmotive, Inc. as a FAA Certified Repair Station in 1976. Our facility consists of 20,000 square feet of hangar space, a paint booth, and is well equipped for fabrication, restoration, and hidden damage inspection in accordance with FAA guidlines.  Our team  of experienced technicians are trained in several aspects of aviation, major repairs, overhaul and new manufacture, specializing in the North American Aviation P-51 & TF-51 series aircraft.  Over several years we have developed processes and techniques for the fabrication of the P-51 and the TF-51 series airframe, collecting an extensive techinical library, fixtures and tooling.

Through the U.S. Department of Transportation Federal Aviation Administration the Limited Type Certificate No. 11 for the North American P-51C, P51D and P51K model aircraft was acquired by Cal Pacific Airmotive, Inc in 2007.  The company then applied for and was issued Production Approval Certificate No. 724NM in 2009 for production of FAA approved airframe parts in accordance with LTC-11.
